Our Memoir Group

Why do we write memoirs? To recall and preserve memories, to pass forward a personal message, or family history, or a story about an experience or achievement. To remember who loved us and who we loved in return. As a memoirist, or aspiring memoirist, first and foremost our job is to remember, to write or offer an oral memory. We needn’t be our own editors or critics. It’s not about structure, grammar, spelling, or cleverness. It’s about reflecting, receiving, resounding, and simply enjoying. Come and listen and participate when ready.

Our Memoir Group: on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month Time: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Place: In-person at Ann’s Place and virtual through Zoom Facilitator: Bob Becker, owner of Bob Becker Marketing & Communications, published author and published singer/songwriter.

Register via Ann’s Place portal under Creative & Self Care Programs by email: clientservices@annsplace.org or call 203-790-6568 x109
